The Predator ★★★★☆

3.5 stars

I really enjoyed this book. I found out about it based on one quote and it really filled all my boxes! Sure there are some points that could have been better but overall it was a good, quick read. The first 2 books in this series follow the same character but the ones after, do not. I will only be reading the first two books.

Graduation day!

I’m graduating today!! I’m finally done with university until I eventually go back lol. I’m graduating with a biology degree and it’s been such an interesting time. I did my freshman year in Colorado and transferred back home in order to avoid out-of-state tuition! It gets crazy expensive sometimes. If anyone else is graduating this year, congrats!! It’s finally over!

I’m still debating doing a master’s but I think I’m going to take some time off and enjoy being out of school for the first time in my life. It’s bittersweet but I’m looking forward to using my degree to do things that actually interest me and I’m blessed to be able to do that! I don’t even really know what I would get my masters in but I guess I have plenty of time to figure that out!

City of Gods and Monsters ★★★★★

I. loved. this. book. I literally was up until 3am just reading because I couldn’t put it down. I felt like I was right there with the characters and that’s not something that I feel too often. 200th Post!

I started this blog while I was still in high school and now I’m graduating from college. Even though I wasn’t on here consistently, I was always reading. I came back and was welcomed with open arms and it meant the world to me. I started this blog to help me better express my thoughts and opinions about the books that I was reading and I found an amazing community. I’m so thankful that I was able to come back and jump right back into my reviews.

I just wanted to make a quick, dedicated post, to say thank you. Many of you were here before I took my long break and it warms my heart to see you still here. I love the things that this blog has given me the opportunity to do and will continue working on myself and this blog to take everything to the next level!
