I read 11 books in June, which is pretty good since I was in a slump for some of it! I’ve linked any of the reviews that I’ve done so far in case anyone is interested in reading more about one of the books! I only had one 3-star read in June so I’m considering it a success!

From Tormented Tides ★★★☆☆
*I was gifted this ARC from the author in exchange for an honest review. This didn’t affect my review in any way.* This book is coming out July 25th!
I was really interested in this book because of the pirate theme and the promise of a love story. I would say that this book delivered on these two aspects. This book does take a bit to get into and I almost put it down because of it. Not really a great start and I hate DNFing books so I continued reading…I don’t entirely regret it which is good.

My last post for June! This was a bit of a slow reading month but I did read a good bit! I’ll be posting a wrap-up next Wednesday and can’t wait to share!
WWW Wednesday is hosted by Sam @ Taking on a World of Words! I found out about it through Kristin Kraves Books! All you have to do is answers the following three questions:
What are you currently reading?
What did you recently finish reading?
What do you think you’ll read next?
NightShade ★★★★★
I loved this book so so much. I really love how Keri writes and this book really solidified her as an auto-buy author for me! I couldn’t recommend her books enough. I read this in preparation for the release of book two at the end of the month and I am so excited for the continuation of this story. Especially since the next book is dense!

Thank you to Lily from The Lily Cafe for tagging me in this tag! It seems like it started on Instagram but I’m not sure who started it. If you know, let me know!! This seemed like such a fun tag that I couldn’t resist doing it!

3.5 stars
I read this book because TikTok kept showing me quotes from the book and I was intrigued. It was so worth the read! This book jumped right into the plot and kept you hooked until the very end. I read it so fast because I couldn’t put it down. I needed to know what happened next because there was something new in every chapter.

Twisted Love ★★★★★
I read this book so fast and am so glad this Tiktok recommendation was actually good. I have a few trust issues because of Punk 57 but this was so much better! This was another dark romance where the first book follows one couple and the next book follows a closely related couple. I think I’m actually going to continue the series because of how much I love this book and the characters.
Content warning: This book contains a possessive, morally gray alphahole; explicit sexual content, and profanity. No cheating or menage, but if you’re looking for a traditionally sweet, loveable hero, this is not the book for you. Recommended for 18+

I thought it could be fun to do a post about what tropes I really enjoy! There are so many different types of tropes out there and I love reading about what other people like to read in their books. I’d love to know what tropes you guys like and if there are any books that you think I should read based on these tropes!

I was so excited for this book to come out and I read it so so fast! This is the final book in the series and I think that it ended so well. Now that all of the books are out, I really recommend picking them up! These are all on kindle unlimited if you enjoy reading kindle books!
