I read 11 books in June, which is pretty good since I was in a slump for some of it! I’ve linked any of the reviews that I’ve done so far in case anyone is interested in reading more about one of the books! I only had one 3-star read in June so I’m considering it a success!

From Tormented Tides ★★★☆☆
*I was gifted this ARC from the author in exchange for an honest review. This didn’t affect my review in any way.* This book is coming out July 25th!
I was really interested in this book because of the pirate theme and the promise of a love story. I would say that this book delivered on these two aspects. This book does take a bit to get into and I almost put it down because of it. Not really a great start and I hate DNFing books so I continued reading…I don’t entirely regret it which is good.

My last post for June! This was a bit of a slow reading month but I did read a good bit! I’ll be posting a wrap-up next Wednesday and can’t wait to share!
WWW Wednesday is hosted by Sam @ Taking on a World of Words! I found out about it through Kristin Kraves Books! All you have to do is answers the following three questions:

WWW Wednesday
It’s been a second since I did my normal WWW Wednesday but they’re back! I think they are such a fun way to keep track of what I’m reading and include a few thoughts as well.

Punk 57 ★★☆☆☆
2 stars
There was a ton of hype surrounding this book so I was curious about it… I almost regret reading this book. I hate to say this about a book but it was really not amazing. I was under the impression that this was a spicy, enthralling book but instead it felt juvenile and unimpressive.

Happy June!! Here is my wrap-up for May! I read a lot more books this month than I thought I was going to. Considering everything that was going on this month, 14 books is a crazy number!! Did you guys have a good reading month?

I. loved. this. book. I literally was up until 3am just reading because I couldn’t put it down. I felt like I was right there with the characters and that’s not something that I feel too often. The world-building and the characters were just so so good! And! The author doesn’t leave the book on a cliffhanger!! Amazing! Also…there’s some spice in this book.

200th Post!
I started this blog while I was still in high school and now I’m graduating from college. Even though I wasn’t on here consistently, I was always reading. I came back and was welcomed with open arms and it meant the world to me. I started this blog to help me better express my thoughts and opinions about the books that I was reading and I found an amazing community. I’m so thankful that I was able to come back and jump right back into my reviews.
I just wanted to make a quick, dedicated post, to say thank you. Many of you were here before I took my long break and it warms my heart to see you still here. I love the things that this blog has given me the opportunity to do and will continue working on myself and this blog to take everything to the next level!
April Wrap up
I read and reviewed a decent amount of books this year! This will probably be the most books I read until June because of how crazy May is going to be! I’m so glad I got kindle unlimited or else I would be reading super slow and with the inability to put a book down if I wasn’t enjoying it.
